The Consumer Protection Authority, in cooperation with the Advanced Technology Electronics Company (MI Store), launched a recall campaign for all iPhone 11 devices production during the period from November 2019 to May 2020.

The recall came due to a manufacturing defect in the devices, which is the failure to respond to touch due to a problem with the display module. Therefore, the company will replace the affected devices whenever the conditions apply, and consumers can visit the maintenance center at the Avenues Mall in Al Khuwair.

These recalls confirm the efforts made by the authority in the field of safety of sold goods in cooperation with various companies, to preserve the rights of consumers, ensure after-sales services, and in line with its continuous keenness to conduct continuous reviews of all products offered in the Sultanate’s markets.
