The Consumer Protection Authority in cooperation with the Advanced Technology Electronics Company (MISTORE) has launched a recall for all iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models 2020 to 2021 that were manufactured during the period from October 2020 to April 2021

The reason for the recall is the presence of a small percentage of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro phones that may experience sound problems due to one of the components that may have a malfunction in the receiver unit. Accordingly, the company will work with qualified devices.

These recalls confirm the efforts made by the authority in cooperation with agencies to provide the necessary protection to consumers through its continuous keenness to conduct continuous reviews of all products offered in the Sultanate's markets.
