The Consumer Protection Authority in cooperation with the new Al-Futtaim Company launched a recall campaign for 19 ODGER swivel chairs Model 2022, for the production period of July 2022.

This recall comes due to a manufacturing defect in the leg of the ODGER swivel chairs set in black, which may lead to the possibility of breaking the leg with the star base which poses a danger to users of the chairs.

Accordingly, the company calls on consumers to immediately stop using these chairs, return them to the IKEA store and receive a full refund of the purchase amount.

These recalls confirm the efforts made by the authority in all fields in line with its continuous keenness to conduct continuous reviews of all products offered in the Sultanate’s markets with the aim of providing the necessary protection to consumers in all fields.
