The Consumer Protection Authority, in cooperation with the New Al-Futtaim company, launched a campaign to recall of (110) children’s toys of the type of fishing game (BLAVINGAD), model 2022 for the production period from October 2022 to the end of April 2024, based on the numbers (10526506), (00531834), (30531837) and (10539622).

This recall comes due to the failure to install the screws on the game correctly which leads to its separation and the formation of a potential suffocation hazard for children. Therefore, the company calls on consumers to immediately stop using this game and return it to the IKEA store and receive a full refund of the purchase amount.

These recalls confirm the efforts made by the authority in all fields, and in line with its continuous keenness to conduct continuous reviews of all products offered in the Sultanate’s markets with the aim of providing the necessary protection to consumers in all fields.
