The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources issued a circulation to all directorates general affiliating to withdraw sunflower seed products under the brand “Suhail” 

an which having expiry dates ranging from 29/04/2014 to 28/10/2014 from local markets to destroy them.

Based on lab tests, it has been approved that the product has a rotten smell and small dead insects. The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources took this step after receiving a report from Muscat Municipality.
